Flight Lessons From Qualified Instructors
The SkyWalker team includes three instructors who are highly qualified in many types of aircraft. We have extensive flying hours of expertise that add to your individual learning experience during the flight lessons.
Johanna Walker
Owner, Commercial Pilot, Advanced Ground Instructor and Instrument Ground Instructor. Jo’s favorite activity is to giving discovery rides. Her second favorite activity (by only a small margin) is helping her students pass the Written Exam and the oral portion of the Practical Exam.
Matt Sayre
Commercial Pilot, Certified Flight Instructor, Instrument Flight Instructor, Multi-Engine Flight Instructor and Mechanical Engineer. Matt applies his engineering mind to construction of small aircraft in his spare time.
Kerry Brown
Designated Pilot Examiner, Air Transport Pilot, Gold Seal Certified Flight Instructor, Instrument Flight Instructor and Glider Flight Instructor. Kerry has spent his life in the air flying everything from gliders to B-767, from Helicopters to Balloons and from Single Engine Sea to Turbojets.
John Larsen
Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic with Inspection Authorization as well as a Commercial Pilot. John has been in the aviation business since birth. The Larsen Family has been a fixture in the Michigan’s aviation community for generations and part of the growth and institution of Luscombe.
Dan Hephner
Few people have the depth of knowledge in classic aircraft restoration that Dan possesses. From fabric to paint, from metal work to wood work to composite.
SkyWalker Flying is located at the Lenawee County Airport in Adrian, Michigan, and proudly serves many students from throughout the Southeastern Michigan and Northwest Ohio areas and beyond.
